It’s time draw up a list of chores your kids can do to can keep themselves busy as the first half-term break of the new school year approaches. Additionally, we have taken a look at the academic year ahead so you can get to grips with when all the other holidays are scheduled to take place.

These are the term dates for Community and Voluntary Controlled Schools, including special schools in Mansfield. However, schools that have their own Admission Authority can set their own term dates and these calendars may not apply to them.

February half term: Break up on Friday, February 12 and return to school on Monday, February 22.

Easter holidays: Break up on Thursday, April 1 and return to school on Monday, April 19.

Spring half term: Break up on Friday, May 28 and return to school on Monday, June 7.

And finally, the much anticipated Summer holidays: Break up on Wednesday, July 28.

Once again, dates for individual schools may also vary due to training days. Please check with your child’s school for confirmation.
