Mansfield MP highlights success of weekly “tea and cake” event at the Harold Harvey Hall
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
All senior citizens across Mansfield are invited to enjoy a drink, a chat and an obligatory slice of cake! The event runs every week on a Tuesday between 1pm and 3pm and has proven to be immensely popular so far.
The organiser, Jigsaw Homecare, are optimistic that in the future they’ll be able to offer more events throughout the week too and they encourage Mansfield’s senior citizens to get involved and see what they have to offer.

As the County Councillor for the Mansfield North district, which covers Mattersey Court, Ben was pleased to donate some of his grant funding towards this event.
Jigsaw Homecare have also had a very kind donation from ‘The Red’ in Mansfield who have provided beautiful 3-course Christmas meals on Boxing Day which are distributed to the most vulnerable elderly service users they support.
Commenting, Ben Bradley said: “It’s fantastic to hear that the new tea and coffee afternoon at Harold Harvey Hall has received so much interest since it began in October, well done to the team for organising it all and working so hard to make it a success!
