If you have a child of primary school age in the Mansfield area, you may already be aware of ‘Dancing Clare’ who teaches dance to school children in the area.

Clare Hibbert from Mansfield also teaches Mini Movers for two to four years but, with schools and leisure centres closed, she found herself having to cancel all of her classes – so she had the idea of taking her teaching online.

Clare began teaching children’s classes after the birth of her eldest son, Noah, eight years ago.

After having her daughter, Lois, three years ago, Clare focused her attention on Mini Movers – a class for younger children to engage in music and dance, alongside her post-natal class offering.

She explained why she decided to record classes and put them on her YouTube channel: “I really missed my regular class, and then had mums messaging me saying their children were really missing dancing, so I decided to give it a go.

“Anything to keep a bit of normality in their lives.

“I’m hoping to do videos for older children too, so the whole family can join in.”
