Sutton-based Academy Transformation Trust Further Education, which runs Sutton Community Academy, has launched the cafe in partnership with Summer House Children’s Centre.

ATTFE and Takeover Radio 106.9 FM have a unit in Idlewells Shopping Centre in Sutton town centre which serves as a community learning hub and will host the language café.

The cafe aims to welcome everyone to learn more about what is happening in the community, and language support will be available.

The café welcomes all.

Lee Brazier, ATTFE partnership and community lead, said: “The partnership has set up a language café so people who speak other languages can network with each other – they can have a chat and make connections.”

The café will be running each Thursday until July 14, from 10-11.30am.
