1. Aged ground.
One Call Stadium or Field Mill is not only home to Mansfield Town FC but is the oldest ground in the Football League, hosting football since 1861.

2. Bentinck Memorial.
Bentinck Memorial on Mansfield Market Place was erected in 1849 is actually incomplete. A statue should have gone into the empty space on top, but that never happened as money ran out.

3. Centre Tree.
On Westgate there is a tree which marks the "centre" of Sherwood Forest. There was another tree in this exact spot till 1940, and this tree was planted in 1988.
4. Dodsley Link.
English bookseller and publisher Robert Dodsley (1708-1764) was born in Mansfield.
