Moscow Circus coming to town

The circus’s latest show, Babushkin Sekret, is billed as the most spectacular one yet and promises a top night in the company of top performers.

A mammoth cast of Russia’s greatest and most talented circus artistes, many of which have never performed in Britain, transform the most famous circus in the world, combining contemporary and classical circus.

Among the hightlights of the the newly devised show are the beautiful queen of Russian Circus, Yana Alievia, on a revolving ariel chandelier, Whirlwind Rubsovs troupe who acrobatically catapult themselves at breakneck speed across the stage and the Doktrov, flying and spiralling in the apex of the auditorium with grace, beauty and elegance. And if all this isn’t enough to keep you sat on the edge of your seat then the award winning clowns, Valik and Valerik.

The story is based on Soviet satirical tale The Twelve Chairs.

The fantastic Moscow State Circus with ‘Babuskin Sekret’ will be at The Mansfield Palace Theatre from 12th to 14th February, at 5pm on Sunday and 7.30pm and 2.30pm on Monday and Tuesday. Tickets
