THE ATMOSPHERIC Sherwood Forest will play host to a paranormal event next month.
Following the success of its investigation at Newstead Abbey earlier this year, Haunted Events UK will be hosting another event at Sherwood Forest visitor centre at Edwinstowe - which takes place appropriately on Friday 13th July.
The team, made up of lead paranormal investigator Lee Roberts, medium Michelle Hare and paranormal investigator Mat Davis, will be exploring ghostly activity at the forest, best known for the legend of Robin Hood.
Participants will have the chance to explore an area known as the Bowl - an area of dark woodland which reportedly has a high level of paranormal activity.
Lee says that according to some accounts, Robin Hood was not a man but a woodland spirit.
“He was almost like a goblin and he used to roam around the woods as a spirit.”
l To be part in the event, which takes place between 8pm and 2am, visit www.hauntedeventsuk.com or call 07854199667.
We have teamed up with Haunted Events UK to offer two lucky readers the chance to win a pair of VIP tickets each to the event. Simply answer the following question:
