Create Theatre’s family season kicks off on Thursday 20th February at 9.30am with Splosh, for children aged two to five. It uses dance, music and puppetry to help children and families explore communicative play at bath time.
The next show is Shooting the Moon on Thursday 13th March at 7.30pm, for children aged eight and older. Experience the splendour of a full-mask and puppet performance with this captivating new show, which cleverly tells the story of French illusionist and film maker Georges Méilès through a series of unreliable and often surreal dreams.
There are further shows in March, May, June and July - for details see www.createtheatre.co.uk.
Create Theatre even has its own child-friendly mascot to look out for - Festé, the Create Creature.
He has lots of games and competitions lined up for young theatregoers this year and there are even games and puzzles in the family season programme.
