TALENTED musical producer Scott Carver is making waves in the industry after having one of his latest songs played on Radio Nottingham.
Inspired by the iconic sounds of party island Ibiza, the 20-year-old combines a mix of chilled beats, hypnotising melodies and tight production on new tracks including Svensker, Space and Save Yourself.
Scott, of Fairholme Drive, Mansfield, is aiming to secure a record deal in coming years and recently took his first trip to the ‘White Island’ over the summer to get some top tips from top DJs.
“Having my song played on Radio Nottingham for the first time was a real milestone for me and I’m looking to push on from here and get a record deal,” he said.
“I went to Ibiza this year and it was a great experience and I’m hoping to go back again soon.”
Scott, whose musical influences include Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta and Markus Schulz, is set to be busy in the coming months after recently gaining a place to study Sonic Arts at New College Nottingham from September.
Other tracks include Space, Colours and On the Beach, and Scott is hoping to get himself back on the airwaves in the near future. He is currently in talks for some collaborative work with a Derby-based group.
