Your chance to win tickets to see Status Quo at Clumber Park

Denim clad rockers Status Quo will be headlining Friday night of the Clumber Park music festival this year and two readers have the chance to win tickets for the gig which is set to rock the park.

Status Quo will make their first appearance at Clumber Park on Friday 15th August.

Founder members Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt will be joined on stage with keyboard player Andrew Brown, bassist John ‘Rhino’ Edwards and drummer Leon Cave.

Said Rossi: “Playing live is what Quo is all about and we just love being on stage in the open air. I don’t think we have ever played a National Trust gig before so it should be very special.”

Timeless classics like Rockin All Over the World, Whatever You Want and the number one Down, Down are all expected to feature alongside tracks from the new album Bula Quo!

Status Quo have had 33 hit albums in the British Album Chart including Rockin’ All Over The Years in 1990, which sold 1.1m attaining a triple platinum sales status with worldwide sales exceeding seven million.

The list of Status Quo achievements is endless - Opening Live Aid in 1985, receiving the Brit Award in 1991 for Outstanding Contribution to the British Music Industry, Performing in the presence of the Queen in Berlin at the prestigious Last Tattoo and raising thousands of pounds for charity are to name just a few.
