Risk-takers Thrice to headline Rock City

Trailblazing rock visionaries Thrice are bringing their hardcore grit and progressive ambition to Nottingham next month.

Thrice emerged from the underground punk scene in the late '90s, going on to major labels and influential indie labels to record a rich catalog of intense, meaningful and emotionally driven albums. Dustin Kensrue (vocals/guitar), Teppei Teranishi (guitar), Eddie Breckenridge (bass), and Riley Breckenridge (drums) are known for their constant evolution in sound and substance, building a reputation as a band for musicians and songwriters, and a group with consistent integrity willing to take artistic and commercial risks.

The Californian band released their latest album Horizons/West in October last year. The record continues the band’s bold sonic exploration and philosophical depth, blending cinematic post-rock textures, intricate rhythms and raw urgency, and balancing introspection and confrontation.

Thrice play Rock City on Tuesday March 17. Visit thrice.net to book.
