Rising folk star Beans on Toast to play Warsop's Black Market

Rising folk star Beans on Toast brings his Small Town Celebration tour to Warsop's Black Market venue on Friday May 13.

The tour does what is says on the tin as he brings his popular show to a series of small towns up and down Britain with the Warsop show including support from Brad Dear, and the Star Botherers.

Beans on Toast, real name Jay McAllister, saw his star begin to rise in 2005 when he opened Glastonbury Festival and has done so every year since.

He now has seven acclaimed albums under his belt, mostly offering wry and witty songs on politics, drugs and love, and in 2014, Beans on Toast performed to a crowd of over 100,000 in one week while opening great friend Frank Turner’s UK stadium tour.

Last year he toured the UK and USA, as well as playing one-off shows in Amsterdam, Germany, and South America.

The Warsop show begins at 8pm and tickets are £8 in advance.
