Punchy piece of theatre from youngsters

Nottingham Playhouse Youth Theatre will take you on a journey of love, laughter and reflection when they perform Noughts And Crosses on Saturday, August 27.

Adapted from the best-selling young adult novel by Malorie Blackman, Noughts and Crosses is a love story set in a society divided by racial prejudice and terrorism.

Sephy is a Cross, the daughter of a deputy prime minister, and Callum is a Nought, the son of an activist. Their desire to be together begins to outweigh family loyalty, prompting a political emergency.

This punchy piece of theatre delivered by a young cast is as important now as ever.
