Arctic Monkey's Alex Turner heads home to perform with his other band The Last Shadow Puppets

Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner is coming home for a concert with his other band The Last Shadow Puppets at Sheffield City Hall.

Tickets for the concert – on Sunday, April 3 – will be £35 and £45 when they go on sale on Friday at 9am.

And the chances are that they will sell out in record time.

The Last Shadow Puppets are an award-winning retro rock super group, also featuring co-front man Miles Kane (ex-The Rascals) alongside producer James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco and ex-Simian) and Zach Dawes (Mini Mansions).

The concert will be promoting their second album Everything You’ve Come to Expect, which is set to be released on April 1.

They have already teased the album with first single Bad Habits and announced several summer festival dates.

It has been a long wait for fans – the band’s first album was The Age of the Understatement in 2008 and Turner’s latest offering was AM with the Arctic Monkeys in 2013.

Everything You’ve Come to Expect is produced by James Ford, who has worked on Arctic Monkeys albums.
