I tried and tested a Lipault suitcase - perfect for fitting in lots of luggage and travelling to a long-haul destination
I was in dire need of a new suitcase, and so I decided to try and test one of Lipault’s new suitcases.
I tested Lipault’s Large long trip suitcase from its Lost in Berlin collection, in the colour Ash Stone. I loved the colour of the suitcase as it makes it look really chic, and is a nice muted colour. I used the suitcase when I travelled to Mauritius and it was perfect for this long-haul holiday.
I was able to fit in everything that I needed and I loved the layout of the case. When you open it on the left you have two zipped compartments and on the right is a big space for you to place items such as clothes and bags. The two straps are really handy to tighten over your items so they don’t budge.
The inside of the case is a lovely plush burgundy colour and overall I really enjoyed the aesthetic of the suitcase. It also is so easy to wheel with four wheels at the bottom. It is nice when you get to glide your suitcase instead of struggling to pull it tipped on two wheels.
The case itself is very secure as there is a coded padlock on it. You have to set your own code in order to get into the suitcase. Now, this would be my only fault with the case - and that is it was so hard to get into! There were no instructions and I struggled to follow what I could find online on Google and through Lipault’s website.
Once I actually managed to figure it out I found the instructions for the padlock and how to set it up lying inside the case. No use being in there! Apart from the challenge of the padlock, overall the suitcase is great and of such great quality.
You can go for other colours in the Large suitcase as there is a lovely blue colour, black and brown. So if you like your suitcases to be brighter there are other options for colours.
The suitcase is priced at £289.00 so it is an investment but it is one that is worthwhile. It is a sturdy case, very secure and it looks great. If you are willing to spend a bit of money on a good suitcase then I would definitely recommend this one, and the brand overall.
