Volunteers needed for Robin Hood Marathon
Community groups are urged to put themselves forward to join the volunteer workforce and help race organiser, Sweatshop make 2016 the best event yet.
The picturesque new route now includes more of Nottingham’s landmarks than ever before, and you can get front row seats as route marshals.

Race director Judith Manson said: “Volunteers provide integral support to the success of race day and the Sweatshop team are incredibly grateful for anyone that can contribute their time and efforts.
“A huge number of runners will take part in this much-loved event and they’ll be hoping to raise thousands of pounds for their respective charities so we would love to have people to encourage them on their journey.
“Be it sports clubs, running clubs or even voluntary organisations, we want to hear from you.”

Judith continued: “Sweatshop is dedicated to helping runners be the best they can be and our volunteers can expect the same commitment.
“We will train you in your role and ensure you have the best race day experience.
“It will be extremely rewarding and provides a great chance to meet new friends and like-minded people.”
