An altercation involving Sheffield’s Denis Vial and Nottingham’s Greg Hadden sparked a brawl in the second period, with both benches clearing and fights breaking out all over the ice.

Eight players were thrown out of the game, along with both coaches.

Panthers won the game 6-4, after a 45 minute delay for both sides to cool down.
