Towers to host Kids for Heroes tournament

This Saturday, the Towers Snooker Club will host a round of the national Kids of Heroes amateur snooker tournament.

Loughborough-based Kids for Heroes exists to provide support for the children of serving and ex-serving British Military, providing financial and emotional support through a number of projects.

The aim of the tournament is to raise over £100,000 and 32 snooker halls across the country will hosts rounds of the competition with the grand final booked to take place in Leicestershire in May.

The winner of each regional heat will win £500, and automatically entered into the grand final where the winner will receive £5000.
