Former Chad photographer Roger Grayson has delved in to our arhives to pull out these cracking snaps which show a golden age of sport in our area.
Amongst the picturess to feature is a rather young looking Rebecca Adlington, Premier League giants Manchester United facing Sutton Town in a pre-season match.
We also remember Mansfield RUFC tasting cup success in 2001.
