Joe Riley struck twice in the first-half with Jay Cooper also netting before the break, Ben Moore’s strike deep in second-half stoppage time sealed the win for the hosts, who remain four points behind Cotgrave.

Awsworth Villa were granted a bye in the NFA Intermediate Cup with Newark Town Reserves unable to complete the fixture.

In Division One, Underwood Villa are third after being held 1-1 at home by Netherfield Albion, Josh Hunt with the goal for Villa.

In the Intermediate Cup, Kimberley Miners Welfare Reserves’ interest in the competition is over after they lost 3-1 at Welbeck Welfare.

Division Two action saw Kimberley Miners Welfare AFC enjoy a 3-1 home win over Aspley Park, Ben Greenhalgh scoring twice and Daniel Walsh with the other goal as they remain top of the table.

Second are Watnall Athletic who drew 1-1 with Calverton Miners Welfare, Ben Howarth with Watnall’s goal.

Underwood Villa Reserves also drew 1-1 as they hosted Cotgrave Reserves, Kieran Tring with their goal.
