Co-chairman Richard Tempest-Mitchell said the appearance of the rugby league’s most famous trophies would help boost ambition in the junior ranks.

“It’s a brilliant boost for the club. We are an ambassador club for the Leeds Rhinos who have really helped us out,” he said.

“It’s a real big deal to have the trophies in Mansfield and it shows the juniors what they can achieve in the game and what they can win.

“It is important we get the juniors in the area joining the club and hopefully they can go on to play in the Super League.
