The 29-year-old Hall guided fellow Briton Tom Williams to his joint best result in the FIA Junior World Rally Championship, enabling the duo to finish the series in tenth overall.

After five hard-fought rounds across Europe, the ultra-competitive series reached its climax on the rough and boulder-laden roads of Turkey, where most of the arduous stages were an unknown quantity.

But Hall brought all his international knowledge and experience to bear after multiple outings across the world, and the duo were delighted to cross the line at the end of the 312-kilometre rally.

Hall said: “It was such an intense event. We were battered by the heat and dust, so is was incredibly challenging.

“It was very rewarding to finish without having to re-start, and a great way to round off the season.”
