Hall secured an impressive ninth in his category, alongside upcoming driver Fred Field at the ADAC Rallye Niedersachsen in Germany.

The duo overcame treacherous conditions, a brief off-road excursion and a poor tyre-choice during the opening loop of the second day to produce a solid performance in the 18-strong field, grabbing several top-five times during the closing stages of the event.

It came just weeks after Hall’s second FIA World Rally Championship finish of the year at the ADAC Rally Deutschland alongside British Rally Championship contender Tom Williams.

“It was a tough event and the competition was as close as ever throughout the weekend,” Hall said. “But to be mixing it towards the top end of the guys in the series is a real achievement.

“I really do enjoy competing in Germany. There is a great atmosphere, and to have almost 20 of us in identical cars battling it out provides great competition.”
