Elsewhere, three Sutton Harriers ran/walked the 21 mile multi terrain Grindleford Gallop, which starts and finish in Grindleford, Derbyshire.

The route takes you through Eyam, over the moors, which had a thick mist blowing across, making the navigating hard, down into Longstone, along the Monsal Trail to Bakewell.

The route then goes through Chatsworth Park onto Baslow before jogging/walking the long climb up to and along Froggett Edge, and finally run down through the woods into the finish.

Paul Beasley and Gayle Gamble finished in 4hrs 15mins.

John Dale ended up doing 22 miles as he encouraged his friend Zoe Jones to complete the course in a time of six hours.
