It's been a rapid rise for Shelton who only started competing on the track in 2017 at the age of 13.
He began racing a pit bike in the British Mini Bike Championship's Junior SM140 class, finishing fourth out of a field of 36 young riders aged between nine and 15. And has come a long way since then, gaining valuable experience, ahead of what promises to be an action-packed year, with his eyes set on competing at the sharp end.
