Nigel put in a Stella performance at peg 32, starting off on the bomb and pellet cast to the borehole and two lines on the pole long and short on the deck and shalla, catching carp – 5lb on all lines putting a winning weight of 141lb 2oz on the scales.

Best of the rest was last week’s winner; still on top form Wayne Chapman fished the pole and pellet for 98lb 6oz.
