Steve Morgan took the honours at Sherwood Forest Fishery’s Open on 15th July by a whopping margin.

Morgan romped home with 100lb to spare after bagging a winning weight of 236-6-0 to see off Ian Clarke with 135-9-0.

He fished a scoop feeder with micro’s and a 6 mil pellet on the hook cast to the small island and loose feeding 6 mil’s over the top he had a steady run of carp – 6lb and putting 236lb 6oz on the scales.

Best of the rest Clarke fished the method feeder cast to the big island + a couple of pole fished margin monsters for 135lb 9oz.

Steve Richards was third with 126-10-0, followed by Mick Langton, 116-0-0, Nigel Shipman, 113-8-0 and Russ Brookes, 107-8-0.
