Jacksdale race ace Kyle Ryde extends British Superbikes championship lead after double podium at Oulton Park
Jacksdale race ace Kyle Ryde enjoyed a weekend to remember with two wins at the latest round of the British Superbikes Championship at Oulton Park.
Ryde came home on top in race two and race three to extend his Championship lead over Scott Redding to 30 points.

The Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions rider overcame a slow start off the grid in race three before finding his stride to claim a 12th win of the season.
The early exchanges left Ryde third before he moved into second after overtaking Bradley Ray at the start of lap five.
The championship leader then sat in behind until lap 10 when bike problems for Redding allowed Ryde to take the lead.
“Once I passed Ray I just tried to settle into a rhythm and save a bit of tyre. I was just trying to be smooth and save a bit of energy.
“Scott wasn't making any mistakes but then he went into the second chicane a little bit deep. I just got my head down and focused on what I know I can do.
“I did nine solid laps and didn’t make a mistake. I could hear Scott on every lap going into the last corner so I knew I wasn’t pulling away. It has been a great day and I am proud of myself.”
It capped a fine race weekend for Ryde who had claimed a second place finish in race one after having to come from 10th on the grid following a fall in qualifying.
“Starting tenth was a little bit stressful, but I knew I had good speed at the end of the race to at least pick four or five people off,” he added.
“If I was to sneak a podium, I’d have been very happy. Once I got my head down I got to fifth and had a two second gap to catch up.
“I was slowly catching up, but when they all started passing each other, the gap just disappeared instantly, and I could chill out a bit and save a bit for the end.
“Once I got to second I caught up a little bit, but ran out of laps. Second place from tenth on the grid is a great day at the office.”
