Returning to the kind of calendar you’d ordinarily expect after the enforced changes of this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the championship will be contested over eight race weekends with seven as a co-headline category alongside the Intelligent Money British GT Championship.

Next season will also see a return for the usual overseas round at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, always one of the most popular events for both drivers and teams and, undoubtedly, one of motor racing’s very best challenges.

Starting off with the traditional Easter weekend date at Oulton Park in Cheshire between Good Friday, 3rd April and Easter Monday, 5th April, BRDC British F3 is then set to visit Snetterton in Norfolk and Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit in Kent.

The first of two trips to Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit in Northamptonshire comes at the end of June, ahead of a mid-July visit to Donington Park Grand Prix Circuit in Leicestershire. After the journey to Spa, the championship heads back to UK soil for the final two events – return visits to Silverstone in August, standalone from British GT, and Donington Park in September.

After successful implementation this year, following the delayed start to the current season caused by the national coronavirus lockdown, series organisers have confirmed quadruple-header events will remain with a total of four, the other four race meetings being triple-headers.

Importantly, Hillspeed’s 2021 BRDC British F3 race budgets are now available as the team looks ahead to next season and also winter testing – subject, of course, to any global restrictions linked to the COVID-19 situation.

“It’s great to see MSV issue the provisional dates and schedule for next year, it really does look a superb calendar,”commented Ollerenshaw.

“I’m absolutely delighted Spa will be back, always a massive plus for drivers considering racing in British F3, and with all of the top UK circuits as well it’s an unrivalled option for up-and-coming drivers looking for the very best value for money.

“The introduction of four races in a weekend this year has been very positive, so I’m delighted to see those continued, and with 28 races planned British F3 offers exceptional track time.

“I’m very happy to say our 2021 budgets are now available as well and, as always, we welcome enquiries from both experienced and rookie drivers looking for a very cost-effective and competitive F3 package.”

The current BRDC British F3 season, meanwhile, will resume this coming weekend, 24th/25th October, at Donington Park National Circuit in Leicestershire.
