He landed 185-4-0 from peg 36 to beat Paul Unwin, 173-15-0, Michael Elliott, 167-13-0, Nigel Shipman, 136-3-0, Lance Buckle, 136-0-0 and Mick Langton, 133-13-0.

Paul Unwin, drawn at 24, fished the pole with pellet and corn out and in the margins weighing 173lb 15oz.
