Here is a slideshow of this week’s Retro pictures for Hucknall.
One shows people paying their respects to returning soldiers with a farm on the left and hoardings which are now the site of the Byron cinema and the Salvation Army building.
Another shows an official meeting party at the Market Place, including Councillors Dingy Spencer and William Calladine, awaiting the arrival of King George V for his visit to the town in 1914.
