The squad are hoping to make mark in the BSB paddock as a serious contender for the championship, even though the team is new to BSB.

There may also the opportunity for a fourth Kawaskai as a wildcard entry for and up and coming talented riders who would like to experience the BSB paddock.

“I started riding a pit bike early 2017 competing in the BMB Championship, getting a passion for the sport. I finished 4th in my first year on SM 140,” said Shelton.

“In 2018 I became the champion of this class and finished 2nd in the Minigp Class I was also competing in. 2019 I was selected for the British Talent Cup Championship which was a brilliant experience when battling for second at Brno MotoGP event.

“2020 was my first full year in BSB Junior Supersport getting a podium finish at Silverstone and fifth in the championship overall, I am eager to get to work this year with Evergreen to see what we can do as a team.”

Team Evergreen has been created to give young talented riders the opportunity to show their talent and feed the ambition with the help and guidance needed in motorsport

The Team will have a resident suspension specialist Matthew Taylor as well as a dedicated mechanic on board.

They are hoping to run a fourth bike at all rounds as a possible wildcard opportunity to any talented rider.
