Proud Sutton Swimming Club have retained their Notts Sports Centre League, First Division title after a superb season.

Over six rounds, they won five and were runners-up in the other, meaning they collected 35 of the 36 league points on offer, beating Calverton and Bingham into second, with Worksop third in the six-team division. Mansfield finished sixth.

Sutton’s dominant success continues their meteoric rise since they were crowned the league’s Third Division champions in 2013. The following year, they won

Division Two and now back-to-back First Division titles. They also entered a B team for the first time this year, and they were runners-up to Radford in Division Three.
