Young players from Mansfield RFC had the opportunity to develop their game under the eyes of 10-time English champions Leicester Tigers.

The youngsters took part in a matchday coaching clinic ahead of the Aviva Premiership match against Exeter Chiefs.

The clinics give players the opportunity to work with the club’s coaches on individual and team skills as well as taking tips and techniques with them to work on.

The clinics also provide a chance to meet a Tigers first-team player and talk to them about playing professional rugby for one of the biggest club in the country.

They watched the Tigers beat Exeter Chiefs 25-18 in the Aviva Premiership and even managed to follow in the stars’ footsteps by having a team photo taken on the pitch at half-time with Tigers club captain Ed Slater in front of a sell-out 24,000-strong crowd.
