Ecott makes history in Arena's first female fight

The 21-year-old from Ollerton took part in the first women’s fight at the venue on Saturday.

She took plenty of support with her and if her fans blinked, they missed her fight against Sam Dekota.

The fight was all over in 15 seconds.

At the opening bell, Ecott went straight on the attack, backing Dekota into a corner and when she connected with a fast left-right, Dekota crumpled to the floor.

The referee completed the count after only 15 seconds.

Ecott said afterwards: “It was amazing to be a part of something so massive.”
