Mansfield martial arts youngsters triumph in Tunisia

The students, representing the PBA Kidz Academy on Newgate Lane Mansfield, and the Personal Best Academy on Pelham Street, Mansfield, competed in Semi-Contact, Traditional Kata, Musical Forms and Team Forms in their relevant age and rank divisions.

Frankie Ulyatt and Chloe Adcock were both crowned triple World Cup Winners and alongside their team mates, the WMKF England squad brought home a total of 24 trophies. Results:

The students and coaches at the PBA schools expressed gratitude to the local community for their fundraising support and backing which enabled them to attend the prestigious event and compete against other athletes from 16 other countries, including Nepal, India, Egypt, Switzerland, Italy, Sicily, Scotland, Tunisia, Australia and Argentina.

PBA chief instructor and WMKF England director Zara Phythian has announced that the next World Championship event will be held in Malta and the UK Qualifiers will be held in Mansfield, next spring with the date and venue to be confirmed.
