Local trio shaping up for success

They progressed via the NABBA Midlands competition at Brierly Hill, Dudley.

Greg Burzanski, of Mansfield, won a very strong Novice Class, seeing off 11 opponents.

Ryan Clifford, of Glapwell, was second in his First Timers class in a field of 14, while Jane, Stevenson, of Mansfield, won the Ladies’ New Athletic Class.

All three train at Mansfield’s World Physiques Gym where co-owners Paula Bircumshaw and Steve Riddoch give them the very best preparation, Steve being a former British champion and Paula having 30 years of bodybuilding competitons under her belt.

“Steve has put a lot of hard work into these competitors,” said Paula.

“These are really big achievements. Under Steve’s guidance’ with his knowledge of nutrition and 25 years of competing in this sport, World Physiques Gym is racking up a list of British champions and winners alike.

“All our athletes are coached and advised by us to the highest standard and level in their show preparation.”
