Lakey back-to-back wins

In the Wednesday Open on Holmedale Lake he was drawn at peg 14 and fished the pole and pellet out at 14+16m, landing carp from the off and finishing with 23 to 8lb and a total of 74lb 8oz.

Second-placed Brian Elliott watched his lead fade away in the last hour, landing 20 carp to 7lb for 43lb 7oz.

The day before Andy made a rare appearance on the Sherwood Lake and drew end peg on the day 26.

He fished the pole and maggot out at 14m, landing 48 ide to 1lb and four small carp to 2lb for 36lb 9oz.

Waggler man John Urruty was in second spot with 27lb 9oz of maggot-caught ide and roach.
