The eldest Callan sibling took on 18-year-old Michele Klannon from Germany for an international title and won all five rounds convincingly.

The trio recently moved gyms to Trojan Martial Arts Academy under Gavin Burrows.

And since moving to Trojan, Kyle has won all three of his fights, Lucie, 14, has stopped all three of her opponents in the first round, and Josie has had a hat-trick of wins.

The latter’s latest win in the World Championships in France was against Emily Machut, who has a record of 26 wins two losses.

During the French tournament earlier this month, Kyle won his category, while Lucie won all three of her categories, and Josie picked up two category titles.

All three children will be fighting in the WIMA Championships on 28th February and again at Bescot Stadium in Walsall on 5th March.

Kyle is a Broomhill Junior School student in Y5, Lucie attends Holgate Academy in Y9 and Josie is studying coaching and fitness at Central College Clifton.
