Harriers among the County Cross Country medals

Mansfield Harriers were among the medals at the Nottinghamshire County Cross Country Championships at Shipley Park, near Heanor, on Saturday.

In typical cross country weather with the recent rainfall, there were lots of puddles and mud to contend with on the course.

Mansfield were well represented in all categories with Mark Johnson finishing as the fastest veteran, covering the 10km course in a time of 36 minutes 27 seconds, resulting in eighth overall in the senior men’s category.
