Rufford Ladies pick up golf trophies

Rufford Park Golf Club Ladies’ Section Captains Charity Day winner was Karen Martin on a countback from Jackie Carter, both scoring 33 points.

September Weekend Stableford winner was Tyla Tesh with 31 points, Liz Stevenson second, nine points adrift.

The September Midweek Stableford went to Linda Macutkiewicz (34 points), a point ahead of Cherly Lewis, while September Weekend Medal victor was Liz Stevenson (nett 70) followed by Tyla Tesh (nett 74).

Tina Benner’s 36 points won her the October Midweek Stableford with Jean Sargison runner-up.

Autumn Trophy Division One went to Emily Jane-Golder on a countback from Emily Lyle, both scoring 35 points.

Division Two and the overall Autumn trophy was won by Anita Roberts (39), Liz Rhodes second, four points behind.

Weekend Turkey Trott success went to Jackie Carter (34 points), Emily Jane Golder second on 30, and October Weekend Medal victory was achieved by Jackie Carter (nett 73), Debbie Newell second (nett 78).

October Weekend Stapleford winner was Jackie Carter with 35 points, five in front of Jennifer Don.

October Weekend Medal winner was Tina Benner (nett 78), Jean Sargison second with nett 90, while November Weekend Medal went to Jacey Peacock (nett 69) with Rebecca Drury second with nett 75.
