They also took advantage of their main rivals Ravenshead Rascals not having a game this week to move eight points clear at the top of the table.

Ravenshead Riots recorded their first win of the season with a commanding 7-3 victory over Jacksdale C, Simon Chatterton and John Watson winning all their games and then combining to take the doubles also.

In Division Two Ben Swain, Tony Swain and Dave Rhodes of the New Cross Snipers recorded the first league whitewash this season with a 10-0 victory over Ravenshead Angels. This takes the Snipers nine points clear at the top.

Two of the Division Two pre-season favourites clashed on Monday night with Ravenshead Rhinos coming out on top with a 6-4 victory over Boothys.

This result put both teams on 19 points after three games. Steve Scott was the only man from both teams to win all his games in this close-fought match.
