Mansfield Town midfielder Alistair Smith has joined Kettering Town on loan for a month.

The 20-year-old will link up with versatile Stags’ wing-back Jason Law, who is currently on loan with the Vanarama National League North outfit.

The Poppies are managed by former Mansfield manager Paul Cox.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old striker Tyrese Sinclair made a loan switch to Basford United for a month earlier today.

The January transfer window closes at 11pm tonight. Stags have so far brought in three players this month.
