How quickly his injuries clear up will be key but his Monday press conference suggested Matty Longstaff and Stephen Quinn were not going to be long.
As Stags go for a club record 11th home league win in a row, is this the side Clough might go for if everyone is fit? What would your XI be?

The marauding left back will doubtless play on Saturday but will be hoping Stephen Quinn is back from injury to resume their excellent partnership down that side which will make him even more effective when going forward. They have developed a superb understanding this season. Photo: Chris Holloway
6. STEPHEN QUINN
Another player with a knock – an ankle injury – that was a doubt for Tuesday and missed out.
The way Clough spoke about his injury on Monday suggested he would not be out long and, although they will take no chances, Stags are aware of how important Quinn is to the side and how important it is to beat Stevenage.
The medical staff will move heaven and earth to have him out there on Saturday as he really is a talisman for the side. Photo: Chris Holloway
7. MATTY LONGSTAFF
Stags will hope Longstaff's tight hamstring has settled in time for a return on Saturday.
The young Newcastle United loanee has begun to find his League Two feet and had netted three times in as many games before missing the Port Vale trip.
He was said to be a doubt but it did not sound long term and he will come straight back in if ready. Photo: Lewis Storey

The January loan signing impressed on his long-awaited full debut at Port Vale after six sub appearances and, needing a run of games to find his match sharpness, he is well worth keeping in the side for a full home debut. My man of the match at Port Vale. Photo: Lewis Storey
