WATCH: Our pundits give their take on some big away days for Mansfield Town and League One's early promotion contenders
The 2026/27 League One roster is now complete following Notts County’s play-off promotion, and Mansfield Town have some big away days coming up next season.
Stags fans are still delighted with their historic tenth-place finish following an emphatic end to their 2025/26 campaign. With just one defeat in their last 15 games, Nigel Clough’s side enter the summer with a sense of hope that further big achievements are on the horizon.
Along with familiar faces from last season, Mansfield Town will come up against some exciting new opponents, including the likes of Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday, who were both relegated from the Championship alongside Oxford United.
League Two champions Bromley were promoted with Cambridge United and MK Dons, while local rivals Notts County also make the step up.
The favourites for the League One title and promotion places have already been named as odds across the board were recently released. In this week’s episode of Stags Talk, Stephen and Georgia discuss the potential early favourites and Stags’ exciting upwards trajectory.
