Two scenarios for January as Stags look at transfer options

Mansfield Town have begun the task of identifying players for the January transfer window but are being hampered by the large number of current injuries.
With up to 11 players likely to be unavailable this weekend, manager Nigel Clough said: “We have almost two scenarios for the January window.
“If everyone comes back within the first two weeks of January as it looks, then hopefully there won't be much activity.
“Maybe one or two out, depending on availability, and maybe one or two in.
“If people break down over that Christmas period and early January then we have another scenario where we'd need a few more.
“We have not yet narrowed it down to any top targets as we don't know what we are going to actually need, depending who is available.
“We have the usual five to 10 players on the radar.
“That might change as they could become unavailable as well in the next four weeks.
“We have obviously started the process, but there are a lot of ifs and buts around our players at the moment.”
