Teversal get back-to-back wins after beating Heanor Town

Lee Naughton hit the winner in the first minute of stoppage time as Teversal edged the five goal thriller.

With only two minutes on the clock Elliott Couldwell picked up a yellow for a sliding challenge.

Heanor had the first chance in the third minute when Max Thornberry headed wide from a corner.

A minute later Tevie took the lead after Tom Widdowson finished well.

Teversal had a half chance in the 13th minute when Widdowson headed over the bar.

Heanor had to replace goalkeeper Joe McCormack in goal on 21 minutes after apparently breaking a finger, with Thornberry pulling on the keeper’s shirt.

Lewis Weaver had a shot easily saved for the hosts, before Josh Craddock fired narrowly wide on 39 minutes.

Teversal responded and Max Gee blasted wide after good build up play down Tevies left. Heanor had their best chance of the half two minutes into injury time when Weaver shot just over the bar.

Ben Agbakosi fired over for the visitors with the first chance of the second half.

Louis Pryce bravely pulled off a great save at Weaver's feet as he was played in with a through ball in the 54th minute.

Teversal had three chances within three minutes, with Joe Fox, Widdowson and Luke Beastall all going close.

Tom Batterham’s shot deflected off Matthew Brian and into the net on 73 minutes to draw Heanor level.

Teversal made what turned out to be an inspired substitute in the 75th minute Naughton replacing the tiring Gee who had run himself into the ground.

Two minutes later Naughton restored the Tevie lead when a forward ball from Charlie Smith wrong footed the Heanor defence sending Naughton free.

Naughton was causing the Heanor defence problems and he created an opportunity for George Simpson in the 81st minute which he shot just over.

Heanor levelled again when Joe Nice struck a curling shot into the top corner.

But Teversal refused to settle for a point and snatched a dramatic winner when Naughton scored in injury-time.
