Switch of venues for Stags' reserves game

Table-topping Mansfield Town's reserve game at home to Rotherham United today has been forced into a switch of venues.

With the pitch at Stags’ regular reserves home at Rainworth MW’s Kirklington Road ground waterlogged, the game will now take place at the club’s academy venue at Brooksby Melton College, Melton Mowbray at 1pm.

Fans wanting to watch the game should travel to Brooksby Melton College, Brooksby, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE14 2LJ, and then follow signs for ‘Sports Department.’

The Mansfield side will feature several first team players.

Alfie Potter, Paul Anderson and Ricky Miller, all substitutes in Easter Monday’s game at Luton Town, will feature as will Mal Benning, who is suspended from first-team action due to his red card against Accrington Stanley, along with Jimmy Spencer, Krystian Pearce and Joel Byrom.

Stags stand five points above today’s opponents in the Central League North B table, having also played three games less.

The starting XI is likely to be: Olejnik; Digby, Pearce, Thomas, Benning; Potter, King, Byrom, Anderson; Spencer, Miller.

Keaton Ward, Lewis Gibbens, Jordan Graham, Jason Law and Alistair Smith have also been named in the squad.
