Swanwick Pentrich Road beat Blidworth MW thanks to late goals

A long ball was misjudged by the Swanwick defence, which gifted Blidworth’s Liam Theakstone the chance to tap the ball into an empty net.
Swanwick manager Kev Grundy demanded a reaction and within moments he got his wish.
This time Shane Buckerfield was given time and space to drive the ball into the top corner.

Hide AdWith the Blidworth defence getting turned, Swanwick had further chances to seal the victory with Guy Wilding breaking the offside, trap but failing to convert.
Dean Owen was the man of the moment, when Wilding set him through on goal. Owen rounded the keeper and slotted the ball home, with his team mates closely behind to mob him in celebration.
