Paul Cook has issued a rallying cry to supporters to get behind Chesterfield today at Field Mill as his side take on Mansfield Town.
There will be around 1,500 Spireites travelling across the M1 into Nottinghamshire to see their side take on closest rivals Stags.
As well as bragging rights, both sides will be desperate for all three points for very different reasons at either end of the League Two table.
Chesterfield are pushing to reclaim top spot following defeat midweek while Mansfield want to further themselves from the relegation zone.
Cook said: “We need our supporters behind us. We’ve come a long way together. We need each other.
“At times, we’ve needed to give them a lift and, at times, we’ve needed them to give the lads a lift.”
Spireites fans queued around the stadium to get their hands on tickets for the match which has been brought forward to a 1pm kick off.
